Chocolate Protein Balls

Goodness gracious, great balls of protein.... I love putting together healthy treats to grab during the day to have with a cup of tea. The key thing with "healthy treats" is in the headline! Treat....
Healthy treats should be eaten in moderation because if you binge on them they will spike your blood sugar levels and cause a reaction in your body to crave other bad food. Dropping pounds is not impossible if you understand the complex dance between blood sugar, belly fat and insulin and how to interrupt it. This is what I specialise in. Dark chocolate is a sweet and indulgent treat that turns out to be good for your health. Filled with antioxidants and heart-healthy components, dark chocolate is proven to help lower the risk of heart disease over time. Make sure to be discerning when choosing a bar, because chocolates on supermarket shelves are filled with sugar and calories and be sure to eat dark chocolate in moderation. Another healthy food you should watch out for is Peanut Butter Although peanut butter is a healthy source of fats and helps create a feeling of satiation, it is also high in sugar and calories. It's packed with powerful vitamins and minerals but should be eaten in moderation. So go easy!
